CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison brings you the latest forecast details ahead of a cold front mid week.

Although we were spoiled with warm mild weather on Monday, that will unfortunately not be a trend heading into the middle of the week.

The daytime high on Monday reached its highest point in Sarnia and Windsor area at 22 degrees, “Southern Ontario saw temperatures climb in to the mid to upper teens,” smiled CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “As we head into tonight tracking the next cold front, this brings us a brief return to winter.”

Unfortunately, that means a chance of some flurries for many areas north of the Forest City heading into Tuesday, “[a] cold front will come in with some strong gusty winds – you can see as it starts to roll into midwestern Ontario a bit of rainfall towards Grey-Bruce and then transitioning to snowfall,” cautioned Atchison.

Here in London, most of the precipitation associated with the cold front will fall as rain.
