Clouds hang over London as showers, even flurries, loom this weekend

The London area is in for a stretch of unsettled spring weather, with clouds, a bit of rain, and even the chance of flurries before things brighten up briefly early next week.

Epect a mostly cloudy start to Saturday, with fog patches clearing out as the morning goes on. The high will reach 9 C.

Tonight remains mainly cloudy as well, with southeast winds easing off near midnight. The overnight low will dip to plus 4.

Cloudy skies continue into Sunday, with a 40 per cent chance of showers developing late in the morning. Rain is expected to begin around noon. The temperatures will climb to a high of 14.

Looking ahead to the start of the workweek, Monday will remain cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of flurries and a high of plus 2. Skies are expected to clear Monday night, but temperatures will drop sharply to minus 6.
