Bruce Power named top youth employer for 14th straight year

Bruce Power has been named one of Canada’s top employers of young people for the fourteenth consecutive year.

The honour recognizes Bruce Power’s in house training, mentorship programs, and bonus structures for new and young employees.

The nuclear plant located along the shores of Lake Huron near Kincardine is at the middle point of a 13 year, $13 billion project to refurbish six of their eight nuclear reactors.

The private company leases the Bruce Nuclear plant from Ontario Power Generation and has 4200 employees, making them one of Ontario’s largest employers.

Bruce Power was recently named as one of Southwestern Ontario’s Top Employers, as well as one of Canada’s Best Employers, by Forbes.
