Police seized nearly $20,000 in drugs, cash and offense related property from an address in South Huron, and two people are now facing charges.
According to police, on Feb. 21, 2025, search warrants were executed on Main Street and McConnell Street in Exeter, and seized nearly $16,000 worth of fentanyl and methamphetamine. Police say they also seized related property and cash totaling $3,250.
A 38-year-old man faces charges of possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of a prohibited device, possession of a weapon contrary to prohibition order, and fail to comply with condition of release order.
A 32-year-old woman faces charges of possession or fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking.
