Guelph Police are investigating after they say a Jeep SUV was stolen from an east-end driveway.
Police were called to a home near Starwood Drive and Summit Ridge Drive Thursday afternoon.
“A man said he went to check on his parents’ house as they are on vacation and noticed their white 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT missing from the driveway,” said police in a news release.
Both keys were still inside the house.
Police are investigating the incident.

Police are encouraging residents to take steps to protect themselves from auto theft. Police said suggest parking indoors when possible or in well-lit areas, ensuring vehicle doors and windows are closed and locked, employing anti-theft devices to prevent vehicles from being started or steered and using devices to block signals from electronic keys.
Police ask residents to report suspicious activity around unattended vehicles, especially during overnight hours.
