Four suspects break into Guelph jewelry store

The Guelph Police Service is investigating a jewelry store break-in and theft.

They said two alarms calls came in from an unnamed business at Kortright Road West and Edinburgh Road South just before 1 a.m. Monday.

By the time officers got there, however, the suspects had left.

Police said they had pried open the store’s back door.

Security video then showed four males stealing merchandise and rushing out about 20 seconds later.

Police did not say how they fled the scene or share how much merchandise was taken.

One suspect was described as a white male with a medium build. He wore a black jacket, black balaclava, black pants, black and white Converse shoes and red gloves. Police said he was also carrying a crowbar.

The second suspect was also a white male but had a heavy build. He wore a black jacket, grey shirt, black shoes and blue medical gloves.

Suspect number three was a white male with a heavy build. He had on a green and grey tracksuit, black balaclava, white shoes and blue medical gloves.

The last suspect was a white male with a medium build. Police said he wore a black sweater, black pants, black balaclava, black shoes and white gloves.
