Church bell goes missing in Mitchell

Ontario Provincial Police are looking for a missing church bell.

They said it was last seen Nov. 21 on St. Andrew Street in Mitchell.

It was reported missing two days later.

The bell is described as approximately two-and-a-half to three-feet tall, with the words “The Ha Siena” inscribed into the cast bronze.

Anyone with information on the theft, or video from the St. Andrew Street area on the night of Nov. 21, is asked to contact Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
