Two men have been charged in connection to what police say was a lengthy drug trafficking investigation.
On Feb. 21, Waterloo Regional Police completed a search warrant in Cambridge, as part of a months-long Controlled Drugs and Substances investigation.
Police said investigators seized a loaded handgun, crossbow, approximately 1 kilogram of suspected fentanyl, as well as suspected cocaine and prescription medications.
A 40-year-old Cambridge man and a 25-year-old Brampton man were arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, as well as weapons offences.
Both men were held in custody for a bail hearing.
