Track work to temporarily disrupt Kitchener GO line over the weekend

GO Transit riders travelling on the Kitchener line this weekend should prepare for route changes as Metrolinx completes some track work.

From Saturday until the end of service on Sunday, there will be no GO train stops between Bramalea GO and Union Station.

Train service will stick to its regular schedule between Kitchener GO and Bramalea GO.

Replacement GO buses will shuttle riders from Bramalea GO to the Highway 407 bus terminal, where they can transfer to the TTC’s subway to reach Union Station.

Metrolinx said there will be no GO Transit service at Bloor, Mount Dennis or Weston GO during the work. Riders who normally use these stations are advised to travel by TTC instead. GO buses will continue to serve the Malton GO station.

Some late-night adjustments will also be in effect Friday.

Metrolink said the upgrades are part of ongoing work to deliver faster and more frequent services across its network.
