Suspicious person reported at Waterloo community centre

Waterloo Regional Police say someone reported a suspicious person at a Waterloo community centre.

On Wednesday, officers were called to the Albert McCormick Community Centre on Parkside Drive.

According to police, an unknown man attempted to interact with two youths inside the building around 4:15 p.m. The youths then left the area and there was no further contact with the man.

He was described as Black, approximately 20 to 30 years old and tall, with a slim build. The man was also wearing a black balaclava on the lower part of his face.
