Snow events extended in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge

The winter weather isn't done with us yet. CTV's Ashley Bacon has the details.

Another round of the white stuff is expected in southern Ontario.

“The most recent forecast predicts an additional 10 to 12 cm of snow falling in Kitchener between midnight on Saturday, November 29 and the afternoon of Sunday, November 30,” the City of Kitchener warned. “Based on this information, the snow event has now been extended until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, November 30. This helps ensure our plows and snow clearing equipment are able to effectively and efficiently clear snow from roadways across the city.”

Drivers are asked not to park on city streets or risk having their vehicles ticketed for $100 or towed at the owner’s expense.

The City of Waterloo has also extended its 24-hour street parking ban, starting at noon on Saturday.

A snow event is also in effect in the City of Cambridge. It’s set to end Saturday at 11:59 p.m.
