Shots fired at Kitchener home

Gunshots rang out early Thursday morning in the south-end of Kitchener.

Waterloo Regional Police said reports came in around 3 a.m. that someone had fired at a residence at Doon Village Road and Wilfong Drive.

Police said the suspects fled in a vehicle. They shared no description of the suspects, the vehicle or the extent of the damage.

No one was hurt.

A media release warned there may be an increased police presence in the area while officers investigated the incident.
