Police seek to identify suspect after reported sexual assault at Cambridge mall

Waterloo Regional Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a person wanted in connection with a reported sexual assault in Cambridge.

Police said they received a report on Jul. 11, that a young female was sexually assaulted by an unknown male while exiting a mall on Hespeler Road.

The suspect is described as white, about 5′6″ with an average build. He was reportedly wearing glasses, a white hat, a sleeveless shirt, shorts and a crossbody bag at the time of the incident.

Investigators are looking to identify the individual in connection with the assault. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
