Person from Kitchener charged in January crash near Rockwood

A Kitchener resident has been charged in connection to a crash in January near Rockwood.

Members of Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash on Wellington Road 44, around 6:45 a.m. on Jan 22.

Police say two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A 20-year-old from Kitchener was charged with careless driving and faces a $490 fine and six demerit points.

Police are reminding drivers to slow down and drive according to weather conditions.
