Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Robbery Team have arrested a man in connection to a jewelry store robbery at Cambridge Centre Mall.
Police were called to the mall at around 8:15 p.m. on Dec. 16, 2024, for reports of a jewelry store robbery.
“Three unknown masked males entered the business armed with hammers, smashed the display cases and stole merchandise,” police said in a previous media release.
No one was hurt.
It was believed the suspects fled the area in an awaiting getaway car.

On Dec. 18, a 22-year-old Toronto man was arrested and charged with robbery with a weapon, disguise with intent and weapons dangerous.
Police are looking to speak with the individuals shown in the security photos.
