Ohsweken man facing 36 charges, including 11 counts of breaching probation, as part of crime spree investigation

Three people are facing more than 50 charges as the Six Nations Police investigate a recent crime spree.

On March 27, police searched a home on Onondaga Road and Third Line. They said the suspect they were looking for was wanted by police after he drove off in a stolen vehicle on multiple occasions.

During the search officers seized a stolen vehicle, 844 unprescribed Oxycodone pills, approximately $23,000 in cash, multiple firearms, a replica firearm, bulk firearm ammunition and pre-packaged alcohol with sales-related documents.

A 22-year-old man from Ohsweken was charged with three counts of operating a vehicle while prohibited, possession of Oxycodone for the purposes of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000, two counts of possession of stolen property, five counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, five counts of knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless use of a firearm, weapon or ammunition, six counts of possession of a firearm or weapon contrary to a prohibition order, 11 counts of breaching probation and unlawfully keeping liquor for sale.

A 64-year-old from Ohsweken was also charged with possession of Oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000, possession of stolen property over $5,000, five counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless use of a firearm, weapon or ammunition, and unlawfully keeping liquor for sale.

A 35-year-old from Ohsweken was charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000 and five counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
