Kitchener couple wins $350K lotto prize

A Kitchener couple is making plans after winning a big lottery prize.

Patricia and Brian Winger said they picked up their Aces Wild scratch-off ticket while running errands.

“After revealing the number 48, we realized we won big and couldn’t believe it,” they said while picking up their winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. “We checked a few times on the OLG app to confirm the win.”

Forty-eight must be their lucky number as the couple will also be celebrating their 48th anniversary this summer.

“It was a beautiful sign!” they said.

The Wingers told the OLG they want to travel to Italy to visit Tuscany. The couple also plans on putting some of the money aside for retirement and their kids.

The winning ticket was purchased at Forsythe Variety on King Street East in Kitchener.
