Cambridge driver charged with careless driving and driving while suspended

A driver from Cambridge has been charged after a collision between a transport truck and an SUV.

Members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police were called to a crash at the intersection of Wellington Road 124 and Wellington Road 32 in Guelph-Eramosa Township on Tuesday around 3:30 p.m.

No one was hurt.

The intersection was closed briefly while investigators worked.

A picture from the crash shows the airbags on a dark-coloured SUV had been activated and the vehicle had serious front end damage.

The driver of the SUV, a 30-year-old from Cambridge, was charged with careless driving, two counts of driving while under suspension, driving without a licence and failing to wear a seatbelt.
