Brantford Police seek witnesses in hit-and-run collision

The Brantford Police Service is looking for people who may have witnessed a hit-and-run early Sunday morning.

Between 5:30 a.m. and 8:10 a.m., a white sedan struck a parked vehicle along Dalhousie Street near Park Avenue.

Police say the driver’s right side passenger mirror and door handle were left behind. The driver did not stay on scene after hitting the parked car.

The vehicle is described as a white sedan with a carbon colour roof, carbon attachments to the door handles, a spoiler, and a tinted rear plate cover. Police say the vehicle resembles a Kia Forte or similar model.

The driver is described as a Black male who was wearing camo pants and a black hoodie.

Anyone who may have dash cam footage that was in the area around the time of the crash, or anyone who has relevant information is being asked to contact Brantford Police.

Investigators are also asking people to report any vehicles seen matching the description with damage to the right passenger side.
