Fire officials are investigating after a historical barn collapsed in downtown Elora, Ont. Monday afternoon.
Wellington Ontario Provincial Police said they received a call about a one-and-a-half storey structure suddenly collapsing on Metcalfe Street around 3:15 p.m.
Police told CTV News the cause is still under investigation but it is not considered suspicious at this point.

Police said the barn has been abandoned for some time and no one was inside when it collapsed. No injuries have been reported.
Investigators believe heavy snow left behind by two recent winter storms may have caused the barn to crumble.
Engineers have been brought in to take a look at the damage and navigate next steps.
The total monetary loss has yet to be determined.
The OPP is requesting anyone with information to call 1-888-310-1122.
