Woman seriously hurt in sexual assault, police searching for attacker

Police are trying to identify a man they say is responsible for a sexual assault last month.

On Feb. 15, police got a report that a woman was sexually assaulted by an unknown man at a bus stop in the area of 129B Avenue and 97 Street between the hours of 2:05 a.m. and 2:45 a.m.

The man was last seen walking northbound on 97 Street then westbound through a parking lot on 129B Avenue.

The woman was taken to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.

The man is described as between 5′6″ and 5′9″ with a slender build, no facial hair, no tattoos and no glasses.

He was wearing a black jacket with the hood up, blue jeans, tall black snow boots and a black travel pack.
