Woman charged in Strathcona cocaine bust

A 31-year-old woman is facing charges after Edmonton police seized drugs, cash and weapons.

The Edmonton Police Service searched a home in Strathcona on March 22 and seized:

• $142,000 in cash;
• 2,900 grams of cocaine with a street value of approximately $285,000;
• 776 grams of mushrooms with a street value of approximately $11,000;
• 765 tablets of LSD with a street value of approximately $3,800;
• Butterfly knife; and
• Brass knuckles.

The woman is facing nine charges related to drugs and weapons.
