Police investigating death in west Edmonton

Edmonton police are investigating a death near 87 Avenue and 156 Street.

Multiple police cruisers could be seen behind the Meadowlark Place Professional Centre at about 5:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Officers appeared to investigate an area near an electricity box in the parking lot before taping it off.

Police confirmed a death in the area but did not give any more information, saying the nature of the death was still under investigation.
