Edmonton police issued a warning Monday afternoon after the release of a convicted violent offender into the city.

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) said in a media release it has reasonable grounds to believe Nooradin Farah will commit another violent offence.

The 36-year-old man is living in Edmonton after he was released from jail on Monday. The victims of his crimes have suffered physical harm or been killed, and he’s committed crimes against both strangers and people he knew, police said.

Farah stands six feet tall, weighs 188 lb., and has brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone with information about criminal offences by Farah can call police at 780-423-4567.
