The Edmonton Elks released the team’s 2025 regular season schedule on Thursday, kicking off the 67th Canadian football season in enemy territory.
The Elks open the 2025 season in Vancouver against the B.C. Lions on June 7 and will host the Montreal Alouettes on June 19 for Edmonton’s home opener.
The Green and Gold finished the 2024 season with a record of 7-11 after the club saw an overhaul in leadership, including the return of Ed Hervey as vice-president of football operations and general manager, bringing in Alberta-local Mark Kilam as head coach and appointing Chris Morris as president and CEO.
Here are some important dates to note:
- Regular season kickoff – Saturday, June 7 at B.C. Lions
- Home Opener – Thursday, June 19 vs. Montreal Alouettes
- Labour Day Classic – Monday, Sept. 1 @ Calgary Stampeders
- Labour Day Rematch – Saturday, Sept. 6 vs. Calgary Stampeders
- Regular season finale – Friday, Oct. 24 vs. Calgary Stampeders
The Elks haven’t earned a spot in the playoffs since 2019, hoping their 7-4 record in the last 11 games will give them enough momentum to make their 2025 comeback.
Tickets and four-ticket flex packs are available to purchase.
