Driver killed in fiery Parkland County crash

A man died in a crash in Parkland County on Monday.

He and his pickup truck collided with a semi truck around 11 a.m. near Township Road 524 and Highway 770. Both vehicles caught fire.

The pickup truck’s driver and sole occupant died at the scene.

The semi driver escaped on his own and was hospitalized for undescribed injuries.
