CUPE Local 30 and City of Edmonton reach tentative agreement

The City of Edmonton and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 30 have agreed to a tentative deal after months of negotiations on Friday.

According to a release from the the City of Edmonton, CUPE Local 30 will soon hold a ratification vote among its members.

The release also states that “both parties are pleased to have reached a tentative agreement that provides fair and equitable compensation” for the union.

No further details have been provided until the ratification is complete.
