WinSport has an action-packed agenda planned this weekend to mark the final days to hit the slopes at Canada Olympic Park.

WinSport will be hosting a day of family-friendly fun this weekend to celebrate the end of ski and snowboard season.

The facility will hold its annual Rail Jam event on Sunday, which sees participants showcase their skills at the rail park.

“This annual event at the base of the XL Park is open to all ages and features an enjoyable competition for skiers and snowboarders to complete as many runs as possible within a given timeframe,” said a Wednesday news release.

“Designated judges will then select the top three participants based on their tricks, creativity and enthusiasm.”

The Grom events (ages 12 and under) begin at 10 a.m. while Ski Jam is at noon and the Snowboard Jam is at 2 p.m.

The Sunday celebration also includes a deal on hot dogs in the Day Lodge food court, where patrons can purchase a hot dog and a Pepsi product for $8, or a smokie and a Pepsi product for $10.

The ski and snowboard hill is open Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets can be purchased online at winsport.ca.

Winsport’s ski and snowboard hill closes for the season on Monday.
