Before I get into the forecast, I want to give you some warmer news first:
It will warm up significantly next week.
But prepare for the cold to last until Monday.
Calgary will have a wind chill of -30 on Wednesday morning.
East of Calgary (Chestermere and Strathmore, and areas east of HW2), the extreme cold warning is in place and a wind chill of -40 is possible Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
Here are the next 24 hours for Calgary:

The coldest day of the next 10 will be Valentine’s Day.
Then, temperatures will slowly climb.
The weekend will be cold, but by next Wednesday, our high should be in the minus single digits.

By next Friday, we will likely hit the freezing mark.
