The cold is here, and it’s going to make itself at home a while

Sunday will be that day where everywhere is cold, especially here in Calgary. We can expect a daytime high around -20.

The cooldown has begun, and we are just getting started.

Saturday, the temperature will drop throughout the day, rather than warm.

We can expect a light dusting—up to a couple centimetres of snow in Calgary over these next 24 hours.

We are in a long-term cold stretch with the coldest weather on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Daytime highs will be around that -20 C mark, and with the wind chill, it will feel closer to -30.
