Crews are working to pull a Tesla, believed to be stolen, from the Bow River after it drove in early Tuesday morning.
Police said they first received a call about a vehicle driving into the river near the Graves Bridge boat launch at 4:48 a.m.
CTV News spoke with a witness who called 911 about the incident.
He said he saw two cars driving up and down the riverbank when one of them drove into the river.
It sparked a large response from first responders, with water rescue, fire crews, police and paramedics all attending.

Police said the driver likely fled after the vehicle went into the water.
By about 11:30 a.m., crews had managed to haul the vehicle out of the water.
