The Calgary Stampeders released their 2025 schedule on Thursday, featuring a brand-new themed game on the eve of the Calgary Stampede.

The Stampede Bowl will help kick off Stampede festivities on July 3, as the Stampeders take on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

“The Stampeders and the Stampede are both longstanding traditions in this city, and we’re looking forward to getting the party started with what promises to be an exciting football game at McMahon Stadium,” Stampeders president Jay McNeil said in a news release.

Vernon Adams Jr., the Stampeders' newly acquired quarterback, assisted the team in announcing their schedule with a video about learning the ropes of being a Calgarian.

The Stampeders will kick off their regular season on Saturday, June 7, at McMahon Stadium, facing off against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

For the annual Labour Day Classic, the Stamps will take on their provincial rivals, the Edmonton Elks, at home on Sept. 1.

In total, Calgary will play 10 games against their west division-mates in 2025.

Playoffs are scheduled to begin with the division semi-finals on Nov. 1, leading up to the Grey Cup in Winnipeg on Nov. 16.
