Police seek suspect(s) following two bank robberies in northeast Calgary

Calgary police are investigating a pair of bank robberies that happened in the city’s northeast on Monday afternoon.

The first happened around 12:30 p.m. at a bank in the 5400 block of Falsbridge Drive N.E., while the second happened around 1 p.m. at a bank in the 0 to 100 block of Saddletowne Circle N.E.

Police say no one was injured in either incident.

The suspect in the first is described as a man in his 40s and about 6′ with a medium build, wearing a hoodie and a mask.

The suspect in the second is described in his 30s to 50s and about 6′ with a medium build, wearing black clothing and a mask.

In the second incident, the suspect is said to have fled in a black SUV.

Police say they’re working to figure out whether the incidents are connected.
