The end of February also marks the end of Black History Month, and Lethbridge Polytechnic is ending four weeks of festivities in style.
Students and staff took part in the Black History Month Cultural Fashion Show.
Models showed off some traditional looks from Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya.

Attendees could also sample free food from the Caribbean.
All those involved see it as a fun way to end Black History Month, but they also see the importance in highlighting Black fashion and culture.
“It kicks off a conversation. ... They want to find out, ‘How is it made? Where is it from?’” said Lethbridge Polytechnic student Ugonna Nwachukwu.
“And then people get to know you beyond your colour or your accent.”
Students all over campus were also invited to wear clothing that celebrates their heritage and culture.
