It is going to be a chilly week, but it will warm up a lot next week

Published:

Looks like it won't warm up significantly until next week. For the rest of this week, we're going to want to keep bundled up.

The cold is here to stay this week.

Tuesday will feel colder than Monday in Calgary because there will be less sun and more wind.

In fact, the wind will be gusting out of the north at 40 km/h at times.

We also have a decent chance of flurries from time to time throughout the day.

That means blowing snow is a possibility and could reduce visibility at times.

It will be brighter on Wednesday—and less cold.

The coldest day of the week will be Valentine’s Day.

So, consider a movie by the fireplace!

We will warm up a lot next week, and by next Thursday, we will get a high at the freezing mark.
