Behind Racism: Challenging the Way We Think is a travelling exhibit developed by the Ontario Science Centre with research and content by the Canadian Race Relations Foundation.

The exhibit takes an interactive approach using hands-on activities, games and challenges that are designed to make you reconsider certain beliefs.

“Through exhibits like this, we’re not trying to call people out and say that you’re racist, but we want to call people in and say, ‘Let’s think about how racism is happening in our community and what we can do about it,‘” said Tyler Stewart, Galt Museum and Archives curator.

“I think one of the strong parts of this exhibition is that it offers solutions, and it offers actions for us to think about in our everyday lives in terms of what we can individually do about racism within our community.”

The exhibit will be on display until October.
