From very, very cold to much, much warmer in the space of a day

As the saying goes, 'What a difference a day makes.' The extreme cold is finally starting to retreat and you'll see it Thursday.

Well, here we go, on the up and up for the rest of the month!

In fact, the temperature in Calgary will rise while we are sleeping tonight.

It will likely kick up to zero by 8 a.m., then finally above the freezing mark in the afternoon.

The warmth will be able to build to the plus double digits by the weekend.
