Four dogs have been seized after an attack on another dog that occurred Monday afternoon in Airdrie.
First responders were called to Silver Springs on the north edge of the city around 3 p.m.
Mounties say a resident was out walking their dog when it was attacked by four larger dogs.
The owner jumped in to save their pet.
The owner was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The condition of their dog is also unknown.
Airdrie bylaw officers seized the four larger dogs.
