David Boreanz is coming to the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo for the first time.
The popular actor is best-known for his roles on Angel, Bones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and for the past seven years, the military drama series SEAL Team.
Boreanz shot to fame playing the role of Angel, a vampire who transitioned into a private investigator, in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and later, on a spinoff named after his character, where his character battled for redemption for the murders he committed before he got a soul.

Other former vampires attending the 2025 Calgary Expo include former Buffy cast member James Marsters, and former Twilight cast members Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli and Rachelle Lefevre.
The festival also announced Tuesday that Twister and Mad About You star Helen Hunt will be attending.
Other confirmed guests for this year’s Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo include Doctor Who cast members Catherine Tate, Jodie Whitaker and Mandip Gill, Daredevil star Charlie Cox, Bitsie Tulloch and Tyler Hoechlin from Superman & Lois, High School Musical’s Corbin Bleu and Lucas Grabeel, Oscar-winner Marisa Tomei, Alicia Silvertone and comic book legend Frank Miller.
There will also be a Back to the Future cast reunion featuring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd.
