Calgary police are investigating an apparent act of road rage that saw a transit driver injured.

Police say the Calgary Transit operator was hit by a vehicle after exiting a bus in the area of Fairmount Drive and Fyffe Road S.E. around 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday.

The driver suffered a lower body injury.

Police say it’s believed it was a “road rage incident.”

Both drivers remained on scene.
