Officials with GoldHunt's $100,000 treasure hunt have confirmed that the latest loot that was buried in Calgary at the end of July has been found.

The treasure was unearthed by Stacey Bodnarchuk and her husband Cory Forsythe and they were declared the winners at 9:44 p.m. Thursday.

The Calgary couple was presented with their prize at a ceremony in Calgary on Friday afternoon.

"It is a blast doing this, Every time we get to come out here and give away this treasure, it has just never lost its novelty, it has never gotten old. Just a really cool time when we get to give our winners a real-life treasure," said Chris Cromwell, Spokesperson GoldHunt.

"Unbelievable, just beside ourselves," said Forsythe. "I kept thinking of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the kid with the golden ticket, that's what I felt like."

"We had friends and family that kind of helped us with answers. It took a village to solve these, the complexity of riddles," said Bodnarchuk.

Cromwell says the treasure was located this time in about 11 days and that they are not revealing where it was located at this time.

"We are keeping the location that it was found super, top secret only to protect the integrity of the hunt. But once all three hunts are complete we'll release the exact location of where they were hidden," he said.

The winners say they will use some of the money to travel.

Nine other treasures have been hidden across North America and the hunt is still on in Vancouver and Edmonton.
