The Calgary Canucks are just one win away from advancing to the semi-finals in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) playoffs.
Wednesday in Game 4 against the Kodiaks in Camrose, the Canucks fell behind 2-0 until Jack Plandowski scored to cut the deficit to 2-1 after one period.
In the second, Calgary tied it up when Plandowski buried a rebound off a shot by Rhett Melnyk to tie it at two apiece.

The Canucks took their first lead of the night in the third after a Kodiak turnover in their own zone led to Luc Trevors setting up Rhys Jamieson, who didn’t miss, making it 3-2 Canucks.
A little bit later, Landon Pappas found Trevors lurking in front of the Camrose net and Trevors made it 4-2 Canucks, who added a late goal to make the final 5-2.
Calgary leads the series three games to one and have a chance to wrap it up Friday night at the Ken Bracko Arena.
Puck drop is a little after 7 p.m.
On Thursday, Plandowski was named to the AJHL’s All-Academic Team.

Jack’s hard work both on the ice and in the classroom is an incredible testament to his dedication and discipline. We can't wait to see him continue to excel as both an athlete and a student! pic.twitter.com/wNN4nsgbl6
