Relief at the pumps Monday as gas prices drop 11 cents

Drivers can breathe a slight sigh of relief Monday as gas prices have dropped across Simcoe County.

Prices are down 11 cents a litre to start the week where they’re set to stay until Wednesday before rising again, experts say.

According to Gas Wizard, the average price in Barrie went from 174.9 cents a litre Sunday to 163.9 cents a litre Monday.

After they rose around 9 cents a litre on Saturday, dropped again on Sunday and even more on Monday, now is the time to fill up.
