Paul Sadlon Motors ‘flips the switch onto solar’

In a nod to his father Paul Sadlon Sr., Paul Sadlon Jr. has officially installed solar panels on the roof of its two buildings on Earth Day.

Sadlon Jr. said they hope to continue to be a leader when it comes to their footprint on the globe.

“We sell a lot of EV vehicles, and there’s a lot of talk about the grid and the problems with the grid,” said Sadlon. “And so, we thought what better way to show our support than to take ourselves off the grid?”

The project was two years in the making, with Sadlon using another local company to complete the project.

The solar panels were installed over a nine-day period.

“There’s actually two systems on the dealership the sales and service, there are both about 340kW, which is roughly about 640 panels in total,” said Mike McCann CEO of SunFlow Solar.

“It’s going to actually give a savings of $40,000 to $60,000 a year, and it’s going to give a lifetime savings of well over $10 million,” he said.
