One person seriously injured after crash on Highway 11

One person is in critical condition after a crash that shut down Highway 11 in Gravenhurst.

On Thursday afternoon at 3:50, police say they responded to a multiple reports of a crash involving three vehicles on Highway 11 southbound near Sparrow Lake Route D.

Officers say witnesses reported one of the vehicles involved was a motorcycle and that the operator was trapped under another vehicle.

Police say the operator was freed and transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Highway 11 was reopened at Kilworthy Road at around 6:35 p.m.
