Police announced on Friday that they found a deceased individual at a Tay Township residence earlier this week.
According to Southern Georgian Bay OPP, detachment officers received a report of a deceased person being found at a trailer home on Reeves Road at around 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
Police say first responders found a lone occupant who was confirmed deceased upon the arrival of paramedics.
The area Coroner also reportedly attended the scene and identified the individual to be a 68-year-old female who lived in the trailer.
Police say there are no signs of foul play and that the investigation is ongoing.
A postmortem is set to be conducted by the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service to determine the cause of death.
The Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) has also been notified of the incident.
