Three charged after fentanyl, meth and cash seized from P.E.I. home

Three people are facing charges after police say they seized hundreds of thousands worth of drugs from a home in Stratford, P.E.I.

Officers with Charlottetown Police Services conducted a targeted traffic stop in Charlottetown just after 5 p.m. on Monday, resulting in the arrests of two women and a man.

Shortly after the stop, the Charlottetown Police Tactical Response Team executed a search warrant at a residence on Matwood Drive in Stratford, where officers seized:

• 1 kg of fentanyl
• 2.8 kg of crystal methamphetamine
• 763 grams of cocaine
• multiple cellphones
• approximately $5,800 dollars cash

The force says the street value of the drugs seized is approximately $665,000.

Police say 21-year-old Jabari London, 23-year-old Angel Barnett, and 23-year-old Kimberly Elbourne, all from Ontario, have been charged with:

• possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl)
• possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking (crystal methamphetamine)
• possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)

London has also been charged with breach of probation, and Barnett is facing a charge of failure to comply with a release order.

All three have been remanded into custody and will appear in court at a later date.
