N.S. RCMP seize 3kgs of cocaine as part of drug trafficking investigations

Several people are facing multiple charges after Nova Scotia RCMP seized three kilograms of cocaine in separate drug trafficking investigations last month.

Police executed a search warrant at a Highway 1 home in Salmon River on Feb. 26. According to an RCMP news release, officers seized pre-filled syringes that were suspected to contain fentanyl and two firearms. They also arrested two men.

Jordan Louis Comeau, 26, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl. Kim Louis Comeau was charged with unsafe storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized.

On Feb. 27, police searched two apartments on Prince William Street in Digby and say officers seized crack cocaine and cash. Three men were arrested at the scene.

Roy Charles McCullough, 51, Xander Jordan, 25, and Brian Kelly Heigh were all charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of property obtained by crime.

Police executed a search warrant at a South Rawdon home and a Bramber home on Feb. 28. They arrested a man and a woman, and say the following items were seized:

-approximately three kilograms of cocaine

-methamphetamines

-approximately one kilogram of dried cannabis

-cannabis edibles

-unstamped tobacco

-brass knuckles

-imitation handgun

-cash

-a travel trailer

Melissa Sharon Millett, 40, and Marshall Garwin Burgess, 32, were charged with:

-possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine

-possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine

-possession of property obtained by crime

-possession of unstamped tobacco

-unlawful possession of tobacco products for sale or distribution

Burgess was also charged with possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling, prohibited possession of cannabis for the purpose of distribution and possession of a prohibited weapon.
