N.S. RCMP investigating theft of plaques in Pictou

Police say three plaques were stolen in Pictou, N.S., last week.

Nova Scotia RCMP is investigating a series of thefts of plaques in Pictou over the last few days.

Police say they received a report of a large brass plaque stolen from a Haliburton Road building during overnight hours on Thursday.

Officers then responded to the reported theft of two bronze plaques from a stone monument at the intersection of Churchville Loop and Churchville Road on Sunday. They learned someone had removed the plaques in the last week.
