Nova Scotia’s primary care waitlist went down by more than 2,000 people over the past month.
There were 93,682 people on the Need a Family Practice Registry as of April 1, according to Nova Scotia Health.
The health authority says 2,193 people in total were attached or removed as a result of ongoing validation work that confirmed they have a health-care provider.
Last month, there were 95,875 Nova Scotians on the waitlist.
The percentage of the province’s population on the registry is 8.8 per cent.
Nova Scotia Health says it will update the registry early next month.
